The Park is a home for 13 primates with over 70 is mammals, such primates include the Chimpanzee, a cheeky and intelligent tailless ape with 97.8% human DNA and human-like limbs and behavior and there are over 5000 primates in the wild of Kibale Forest. Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park
Being your day with morning breakfast and alter have a fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for an outstanding cultural visit.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Kibale
After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzees in Kibale forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee and it takes 1 to 4 hours while tracking impressive creatures, finding them you granted about one hour in the jungle of chimpanzees as you observe them swing from one tree to another feed, play about or progress speedily on the ground right in front of you and then later back to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the swamp. This walk will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds, and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. You may also stopover at any tea plantation along the road if you wish.
Day 3: Kibale National Park – Kampala/ Entebbe
After having your morning breakfast, you will embark on your drive to Kampala/Entebbe with lunch en route.
